Terms for using Lifefellow

Updated October 30, 2026. If a change affects you, we tell you before it applies.

Who you're agreeing with

Lifefellow is run by Sheba Media, a company in the United States ("we" and "us" here). These terms are an agreement between you and Sheba Media. By making an account or using Lifefellow, you accept them. The privacy notice says how we handle your data.

Who can use Lifefellow

Lifefellow accounts are for people 18 and older. Someone aged 13 to 17 may only talk with a family member's legacy, after a parent confirms by email. No one under 13 may use Lifefellow.

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account. If you think someone else got in, tell us at support@lifefellow.com.

What Lifefellow is

Lifefellow is an AI companion. It remembers what you tell it, keeps your memories on a map you can see, and helps with your day. Its replies come from AI models made by other companies, which the privacy notice names, and nothing goes to them until you say yes.

AI can be wrong

Replies can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they sound sure. Lifefellow isn't a doctor, lawyer, therapist or financial adviser, and nothing it says is professional advice. Check anything important before you act on it. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number.

What you put in, and what it writes

What you put into Lifefellow stays yours: your messages, memories, files and anything you bring in from other apps. You let us store and process it only to run Lifefellow for you, as the privacy notice describes. What Lifefellow writes for you is yours to use too.

Only put in what you have the right to use. You're responsible for what you put in and for how you use what it writes.

Using Lifefellow fairly

Don't use Lifefellow to:

Shared pages

When you share a page, anyone with its link can read it until you stop sharing it. Every shared page has Report this page at its foot, and our team reads every report. We take down a page that breaks these terms. To report something that infringes your rights, write to support@lifefellow.com.

What we may do

We may look at content that's reported to us, remove content that breaks these terms, and limit or close an account to keep Lifefellow safe and lawful. Lifefellow, its software, its characters and its name belong to us. These terms let you use Lifefellow; they don't make you its owner.

Plans and payments

Lifefellow has a free plan and paid plans: Plans and prices lists what each includes and costs. A paid plan is charged in advance each month or year, and renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancel anytime in Settings, Your plan: the plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, and you aren't charged again.

Each plan comes with an amount of AI use for its period, its bar. When the bar runs out, Lifefellow keeps answering on a lighter model up to a daily limit, and a top-up adds to the bar.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Prices are in US dollars. Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and its buyer terms apply to your order too. If you buy in the iPhone app, Apple bills you and its terms apply: change or cancel that plan in your Apple Account's settings. Apple's standard licence for apps from the App Store applies to the iPhone app too.

If a plan's price goes up, we tell you before the new price applies to you, so you can cancel first.

Refunds

Any payment made on the web can be refunded within 30 days. The refund policy says how to ask.

Legacy

A legacy is something a person chooses to leave: an AI that answers in text, built only from what they wrote and chose to include, for the people they name. Only that person can set up their legacy, during their life, and they can change or delete it while they live. Its payment is separate from the plan.

What we can't promise

We work to keep Lifefellow running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Lifefellow is provided as it is, as far as the law allows.

Limits on what we're liable for

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a right the law doesn't let us limit.

Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime in Settings, Your data. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud, or a risk to other people or to Lifefellow's security. When we do, we tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety stops us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects you, we tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using Lifefellow after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
