Lifefellow ยท Privacy notice
How Lifefellow handles your data
Updated November 4, 2026. This notice describes how Lifefellow works today.
Who we are
Lifefellow is an assistant that remembers what you tell it. It's run by Sheba Media, which decides how your data is used. Write to support@lifefellow.com about your data or this notice.
What Lifefellow keeps
Your account: your name, your email address and how you sign in. Your date of birth is checked once at sign-up and never kept.
What you put in: your chats, the memories your Lifefellow keeps, files you attach, and what you bring in from other apps. If you connect Apple Health, a daily summary of the readings you pick. You can see, change, export or delete any of it.
If you let the iPhone app use your location: for the weather, a spot rounded to about a kilometer goes with your message and isn't kept. Your iPhone works out the city you're in and sends only its name and the date, so your Lifefellow can notice a new city, warn you of storms and extreme heat there, and keep the list of cities in Settings, Privacy, Places, where you can delete any of it. Reminders by place are watched by your iPhone itself.
Chat text is kept for 12 months unless you pick 1 month, 3 months or until you delete it, in Settings, Privacy.
If you use Code: your projects and your sessions with your Lifefellow, until you remove them. The code itself stays in your GitHub repository or your folder.
If you use the microphone button to talk to type: your phone or browser makes the words, not us. On the website, Chrome sends the recording to Google, Edge to Microsoft and Safari to Apple to turn it into words. On the iPhone, when the app has the button, the recording stays on the phone where the iPhone can; otherwise Apple hears it. No recording reaches our servers; only the words you send do.
Before anything goes to an AI company
Lifefellow asks first. Before your first chat it shows which AI companies may answer, and nothing goes to any of them until you say yes. You can change which ones answer at any time in Settings, Privacy.
The company that answers gets your message, files you attach and the memories needed for that answer. Never your whole memory map.
We never train AI models on your data.
Companies that work for us, and what each gets
- Cloudflare
- Hosts Lifefellow: your account, chats, memories and files are stored on its servers. Its AI service turns memories into search data and recordings into text, inside Cloudflare. Its bot check runs at sign-up. Its Web Analytics counts visits to our web pages (which page, the site you came from, your country and browser, and how fast the page loaded), with no cookies and nothing that follows you from site to site. When you use Code, your project's code runs in a computer of its own inside Cloudflare while you work, and a preview of it is shown on lifefellow.dev.
- OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (Gemini)
- Answer your chats and do the background work on your memories, only the companies you allow. Each gets what that answer needs, and keeps it as its own terms say.
- ElevenLabs
- When you talk out loud: hears your voice and speaks the answers, and keeps them as its own terms say.
- Exa
- When your Lifefellow searches the web for you: the search words.
- Browser Use
- When you OK a task in a cloud browser: the task and the pages it opens.
- Composio
- Holds the connections to apps you connect through it, and passes along what your Lifefellow asks of them.
- Google (Gmail, Calendar and Drive)
- Only if you connect them: Lifefellow reads what the connection allows, and saves or changes a file in your Drive only after you OK it. The morning email shows the sender and subject of up to 3 emails, and nothing else from Gmail.
- Notion, Linear, Asana and Zapier
- Only if you connect them: they get what your Lifefellow asks of them for you.
- MCP servers and API keys you add
- Only if you add them: an MCP server you add gets what your Lifefellow asks of it for you. A key you save is kept locked and used only for its app: in chats for Resend, Sentry, Cloudflare or Higgsfield, and in Code inside your session's computer while it runs your commands.
- Plaid
- Only if you connect a bank: holds the link to your bank.
- GitHub
- Only if you connect it for Code: holds your code. Lifefellow reads the repositories you pick and pushes only the changes you OK.
- Open-Meteo
- For weather: the place name or the area to forecast.
- National Weather Service
- Only with your location on, in the US: the area of the city you're in, for storm and heat warnings.
- Paddle
- Payments on the web: your payment details and email address. Paddle sells to you on our behalf.
- Apple
- Purchases in the App Store, Sign in with Apple and notifications on your iPhone.
- Expo
- Delivers notifications to your phone: the device's address and the notification's words.
- Resend
- Sends Lifefellow's own emails, such as sign-in codes and the morning email with your day.
- Sentry
- Gets error reports when something breaks, and blanked screen recordings if you allow them.
Your choices
Settings, Privacy: which AI companies answer, whether only companies that keep no copy may answer, how long chat text is kept, and the log of who used your data.
Our support team can't see your memories unless you turn on "Let support help", and you see every time they look.
You can get a copy of everything in Settings. It's ready for 7 days.
Deleting your account deletes everything in it within minutes. Cloudflare's restore history can hold deleted data for up to 30 days, and then it's gone.
Children
Lifefellow accounts are for people 18 and older. Teens 13 to 17 can only talk with a family member's legacy, after a parent confirms by email. No one under 13 can use Lifefellow.
